5-Year-Old Abducted by Mother Found: Police

Police on Long Island say they've found a 5-year-old boy who was allegedly abducted by his mother.

Sebastian Parsons-Kapp is in the custody of Child Protective Services after he was reported missing earlier this week.

Suffolk County Police said Kristin Kapp ignored an order to turn over her son to Child Protective Services earlier this year.

A family court warrant for child neglect was then issued on April 27, and the child's father -- who previously had an order of protection that prohibited contact with the child -- reported him missing June 9, according to police.

Kapp and her son were living in Stony Brook, and were believed to be in New York, possibly in the New York City area, police said.

It was not clear where the boy was found or if his mother had been located.
