Authorities are investigating after a minivan crashed into a commercial building in Queens, damaging the building and leaving the driver seriously injured.
According to the FDNY, the minivan struck the building on Northern Boulevard in Flushing at around 1:40 p.m. Monday.
The driver of the minivan was taken to a nearby hospital in serious but stable condition, officials said. No other injuries were reported.
The Department of Buildings was on the scene Monday afternoon inspecting the damage to the building.
