An elderly man who was found on fire outside his northern New Jersey home has died from his injuries, officials say.
Wanaque police tell NJ.com that 71-year-old Robert Caywood had "severe burns" all over his body when officers found him at his Pellington Street home around 6:40 p.m. Friday. He was flown to a burn center, but later died.
Further details on his death were not disclosed, and it wasn't clear how the fire started.
No other injuries were reported in the fire.
