A man dressed in black tried to kidnap a 16-year-old girl in the Bronx, grabbing her and trying to force her into a car, police say.
The girl was able to fight off her would-be kidnapper on Clarke Place the morning of Saturday, Oct. 28, and run off, according to police. She had bruises on her head and temple from resisting the man, and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Police said the suspect fled in a dark-colored vehicle. He's described as being in his 30s.
