Police say they are looking for an apparent serial groper dressed all in black targeting young girls near an elementary school in the Bronx.

The 20-something-year-old suspect forcibly touched three different girls within an hour in the area of East 172nd Street and Wheeler Avenue in Soundview Wednesday morning, according to the NYPD. The girls, who police say were all alone at the time, range from 11 to 15 years old.

Officials say the man first approached a 15-year-old girl walking to school alone in the area around 7 a.m. when he grabbed her buttocks. He then asked the girl if he wanted to see his genitals, police said.

The girl got away from the man, and told a school administrator what had happened, police say. About 40 minutes later, cops say the same man grabbed an 11-year-old girl’s buttocks and quickly jumped in a black Chevy Impala and sped off.

About a half-hour after that, police say the groper grabbed a 13-year-old girl’s buttocks, but this time his genitals were exposed.

Police say they want to find this man dressed in all black.

None of the girls were injured, according to police. They say there will be an increased law enforcement presence in the area Thursday.
