A passenger in a car stuck in traffic in Queens was wounded by a single gunshot in what police say was an act of road rage.
The 23-year-old victim, whose identity wasn't disclosed by police, was shot in the left thigh at about 3:30 a.m. Saturday on the Metropolitan Avenue exit of the Jackie Robinson Parkway.
He was taken to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center. His condition wasn't available.
The victim was shot by a man in a black BMW, police said. The victim's car and the BMW were both backing down the entrance ramp to the parkway to avoid a traffic jam when the road rage occurred, police said.
No arrest has been made.
