Police on Long Island are searching for a man and woman they say stole a young puppy from a pet store in Bay Shore.
The man and woman ran out of the American Dog Club with the 9-week-old Maltese puppy Friday afternoon.
They were seen heading into the parking lot and driving away with the pup.
The dog is microchipped, police said.
Suffolk County police asked anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
