Man Who Groped 3 Boys in NYC Park Arrested: NYPD

A man who police say groped three boys in a Bronx park has been arrested.

Greg Boyden, 37, faces several charges for the groping incidents, which started in August in Seton Falls Park in the Edenwald section of the borough, the NYPD said.

Boyden first approached a 13-year-old boy around 1:15 p.m. on Aug. 8 as he was walking and offered him money to help carry bags, police said.

Cops say the victim agreed to help, and as they entered the walkway of Seton Falls Park, near Baychester and Crawford Avenues, he grabbed the boys’ buttocks.

On Sept. 17, the man approached a 15-year-old victim around 6:45 a.m. while he was walking and again offered to give him money to help him carry his bags, according to police.

The victim agreed, and Boyden led him to an isolated area inside the park where he exposed himself, began to masturbate and asked the boy to have sex with him, police said. He then touched the victim’s groin area over his clothing, police said.

On Oct. 3, Boyden approached a 12-year-old boy around 11:30 a.m. as he was walking inside Seton Falls Park and grabbed him by the arm, according to police. The suspect pulled the boy into a wooded area and began to grab at his own waistband, police said.

During the course of the investigation, a fourth incident was reported. On Aug. 1, Boyden allegedly sent a photo of his genitals to a 13-year-old boy, then called him and offered him money for sex.

No injuries were reported as a result of those encounters.

Boyden is charged with forcible touching, acting in a manner injurious to a child, public lewdness, unlawful imprisonment, sexual abuse, sending indecent material to minors and aggravated harassment.

It wasn't clear if he had an attorney who could comment on the charges.
