A man is wanted for assaulting an elderly woman on a Tribeca street on Sunday, authorities said.
At the corner of White Street and Broadway, a stranger put his hand on an 84-year-old woman's face and pushed her, police said. This caused her to fall backward and hit her head on the ground, police said.
The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital and had a gash in the back of her head, police said. The attacker, shown in a surveillance photo, fled on foot.
