Authorities are hoping new surveillance images will help lead them to a suspect who appears to be targeting Asian women.
The man has attacked at least three Asian women in Manhattan, the last attack occurring on Friday on the Upper East Side, police said.
Officials say the man approaches his victims and hits them in the head with a plastic bag containing a hard object and then runs off.
All three victims were treated at hospitals and released..
