A landscape worker trimming a tree at a Long Island property was electrocuted Sunday morning when he accidentally cut into a power line, police said.
Oscar Diaz, a Brentwood resident, was working in a hydraulic bucket truck in front of a Commack home at about 10:30 a.m. when he made contact with the electrical line, Suffolk County police said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
