Man Touched Boys in Bronx Park: NYPD

Police are looking for a man they say has been groping boys in the Bronx.

The man is wanted for touching three boys since August in Seton Falls Park in the Edenwald section of the borough, the NYPD said.

The suspect first approached a 13-year-old boy around 1:15 p.m. on Aug. 8 as he was walking and offered him money to help carry bags.

Police said the victim agreed to help, and as they entered the walkway of Seton Falls Park, near Baychester and Crawford Avenues, he grabbed the boys’ buttocks.

On Sept. 17, the man approached a 15-year-old victim around 6:45 a.m. while he was walking and again offered to give him money to help him carry his bags.

The victim agreed, and the suspect led him to an isolated area inside the park where he exposed himself, began to masturbate and asked the boy to have sex with him, according to police. He then touched the victim’s groin area over his clothing, police said.

On Oct. 3, the man approached a 12-year-old boy around 11:30 a.m. as he was walking inside Seton Falls Park and grabbed him by the arm. The suspect pulled the boy into a wooded area and began to grab at his own waistband, police said.

No injuries were reported as a result of those encounters.

Police released surveillance video of the suspect, who was seen wearing brown sandals, a blue T-shirt and black shorts during at least one of the incidents.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
