VIDEO: Parking Garage Clerk Fights Robber, Stabbed

Police say they've identified the man seen on surveillance video stabbing a Bronx parking garage clerk during an attempted robbery in April.

The incident happened April 24, at the 50-51 Parking Garage at 260 E. 143rd St., at about 7:25 p.m. Two men entered the garage and demanded money from the 58-year-old clerk inside.

When the victim refused, the suspect armed with a knife stabbed him in the torso.

The suspects fled without any property, according to police.

The victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where was treated for the wound and released.

Police announced Monday they've identified the armed suspect as 43-year-old Alberto Lebron of Fox Street in the Bronx.
