A man was shot in the parking lot of a T.G.I.Friday's in New Jersey, police said Sunday.
The 44-year-old Irvington man was found in the parking lot of the restaurant on South Park Avenue in Linden late Saturday, police said.
He was brought to Newark University Hospital with serious injuries, Linden police said.
"Violence and fear will never be tolerated in our community," Police Chief Jonathan Parham said.
