Police are investigating a shooting at a midtown subway station Sunday morning.
Police Say the victim was shot on the downtown "D" platform at 53rd Street and 7th Avenue around 4 a.m.
When police arrived they witnessed a 24-year-old male running from the scene. The suspect was arrested at 8th Ave and 53rd Street and was in possession of a gun, police said.
The victim is in stable condition. Charges are pending against the suspect.
