A man has died after being shot multiple times near a park in the Bronx Monday afternoon, police say.
The man, who was in his 20s, was shot five times near St. Mary's Park at 143rd Street and St. Ann's Avenue in Mott Haven at about 4:15 p.m., according to authorities.
He was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Police are searching for three men in the shooting.
