Man Found Shot Dead in Hallway of Brooklyn Building Where He Lived: NYPD

A 23-year-old man was shot and killed inside a public housing building in Brooklyn Thursday evening, police say.

Police were called to the Unity Plaza Houses at 611 Blake Ave. in Brownsville at about 5 p.m. There, in the first-floor hallway, they found the victim shot in the neck, lying unconscious and unresponsive, police said.

EMS transported the victim to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The victim has been identified as Terrance Bishop, who lived in a second-floor apartment in the building.

No arrest has been made.
