Man Sets Empty Religious School Bus on Fire: Police

A man set an empty religious school bus on fire last week in the Brooklyn, police say.

The NYPD says that on Thursday around 6:30 p.m., a man in Williamsburg walked on the parked bus through an emergency door.

Once inside, he set a bunch of books inside the glove compartment on fire. The fire spread to the front area of the bus, authorities said.

The blaze damaged part of the bus but no one was hurt, officials said.

Once the man lit the fire, he ran away, police said.

Police released a picture of a suspect (above). Anyone with information about him is asked to call authorities.
