Man Robs Santander Bank in Midtown East, Makes Off With $1,200: NYPD

Police are on the hunt for a man who robbed a Manhattan bank Monday morning.

The suspect walked into a Santander Bank between East 44th and 45th Streets near Third Avenue and approached a teller at around 10:25 a.m., police said. He passed a note indicating he had a gun.

The suspect told "just fifties and hundreds", authorities said. The teller complied, and the suspect fled the bank with $1,200.
