Police are looking for a man who was caught on video violently snatching a woman's bag in a Bronx apartment building.
The 40-year-old victim was in the lobby of the building near East 201st Street and Briggs Avenue in Bedford Park just before 8 p.m. when he tried to take her bag, the NYPD said.
The suspect can be seen in surveillance video punching the woman in the face and throwing her to the ground. He eventually fled on a bike without taking anything.
The woman was taken to a nearby hospital and treated for a facial fracture and a laceration to the head.
Police released surveillance video of the suspect.
