Man Pleads Guilty to Stabbing Neighbor in Home Invasion

A former neighbor who climbed through a window and stabbed a suburban New York resident in his bed has pleaded guilty to manslaughter.

Westchester County Acting District Attorney James A. McCarty says Jahkim McGhee entered the plea Wednesday.

McGhee told investigators he'd used alcohol and cocaine before killing Anthony Guglielmo with a butcher knife during a Sept. 11, 2011 burglary attempt in Port Chester.

The victim's 14-year-old daughter found him and called 911.

Nicole Guglielmo was questioned and eventually cleared. She said in 2014 that people had treated her like "trash" amid years of false suspicions. Her lawyer said she'd been cyberbullied and had to leave two schools.

Despite her ordeal, the teen said she hoped to become a police officer.
