A man leaving a subway train in Queens last week inappropriately touched a woman as they passed each other on the stairs, police say.
The man had just gotten off an uptown E train at the Court Square and Jackson Avenue subway station on June 21 around 11:30 in the morning and was making his way down the stairs, according to the NYPD.
A woman was walking up the stairs when the suspect turned around and smacked her on the buttocks, police said. He then ran away toward an unknown direction.
Police Wednesday morning released surveillance footage of the man, who is in his mid-30s, in the hopes of catching him.
He is seen in the photo wearing a black jacket and khaki pants.
