Authorities are investigating the death of a man found in the back seat of a car parked at an auto parts store.
Police responded to a 911 call around 8 a.m. Sunday and found the man in the BMW at Northern Boulevard in Queens.
An employee at the auto parts store had discovered the body.
The victim, 26-year-old Darryl Whitfield of Queens, had trauma to his head and was pronounced dead at the scene.
