A man was found dead near the water on a Queens beach, police say.
The unidentified man in his 60s was found in the area of Beach 116th Street and Ocean Promenade in Rockaway Park at about 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, police said.
Paramedics responded and pronounced the man dead on the scene.
The medical examiner will determine a cause of death. There was no visible sign of trauma on the man.
