A Long Island man was arrested Sunday on a charge accusing him of fatally stabbing his mother's live-in boyfriend during a fight in the apartment they shared, police said.
Rakien Hall, 31, fled from the apartment in Holbrook after stabbing Oscar Green, 47, in the neck just before 6 p.m. Saturday, Suffolk County investigators say.
Green was taken to Stony Brook University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Police located and arrested Hall at 8:50 a.m. Sunday and charged him with first-degree manslaughter.
There was no information indicating Hall had retained a lawyer who could comment on the charge.
