Man Killed in West Side Highway Crash

Police believe the driver was speeding in the southbound lanes when he tried to make a left turn at 56th Street and lost control of his car

Traffic is moving again on the West Side Highway after a deadly early morning crash Sunday.

Police believe the driver was speeding in the southbound lanes when he tried to make a left turn at 56th Street and lost control of his car at around 3 a.m.

The vehicle rolled over several times before landing on its roof.
   
The driver, who was the only person in the car, was killed.

No other cars were involved in the crash.
