Woman Steals Man's Watch, Worth Thousands of Dollars, After He Passes Out Following Hotel Drink; Possible Drugging Probed

Authorities are looking for a woman who stole a man's watch, worth thousands of dollars, after he passed out after a drink at a hotel -- and investigators are probing whether she drugged him.

The women met the 35-year-old man Saturday at a bar in Brooklyn, and the two later headed to Hotel Le Jolie on Meeker Avenue in Williamsburg, police said.

The man had a drink once they got inside a room and promptly passed out, according to authorities. When he woke up, the woman was gone, along with the Ulysse Narden watch he was wearing. The brand of watch costs anywhere from $5,000 to $17,000, though the model the man had wasn't known.

The Daily News reports authorities are awaiting the results of a toxicology test to determine if the woman drugged the man before robbing him.

Police released surveillance video of the woman walking down the hallway of the hotel.

Anyone with information about her is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
