Police say a 63-year-old man has died after being hit by a vehicle in the parking lot of a New York City business.
The NYPD says officers responded around 3 p.m. Monday to reports of a man hit by a vehicle in the parking lot at Decorama Building and Plumbing Supplies on Metropolitan Avenue in Brooklyn.
When officers arrived they found an unconscious and unresponsive man suffering from head trauma. An emergency crew pronounced him dead at the scene. He was later identified as Hou Li of Brooklyn.
Police say a 2005 flatbed truck was backing out of the parking lot when it hit Li.
The driver hasn't been charged. Police say they are still investigating.
