A man has been shot and wounded in a home invasion in Westbury, Nassau County police said.
Two men armed with guns came into the Albany Avenue home through a kitchen window at around 4 a.m. Saturday, authorities said.
They went to a bedroom and fired at a 33-year-old man, police said. The man was hit in the torso. Two women in the house at the time weren't hurt.
Police say the men then fled. The shooting victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
No arrests have been made.
