Man Ambushed By Duo While Leaving Queens Laundromat: Police

A man who was leaving a laundromat in Queens was blindsided and pushed to the ground by two men who stole his watch and cash, the NYPD says.

On Wednesday at around 2 p.m., two men with their hoods up walked up to the man as he was walking out of the laundromat in St. Albans, police said.

They both dragged the 62-year-old man to the ground and punched him in the face, authorities said.

The pair took the man’s watch and $500 in cash before running away.

The victim suffered a black eye, officials said.

Police said both suspects are in their 20s.

Video from the scene shows the two men jump the man who was carrying bags in both hands.

Police released the surveillance footage in hopes of catching the duo.
