Man Attacks MTA Employee, Robs Subway Booth in Queens: Cops

A man armed with a gun tied up an on-duty transit worker in Queens Saturday morning and then robbed a subway booth, according to authorities.

Police say the suspect asked the transit worker if he could use the microwave in a utility room at the 111th Street station on the 7 line. It was unclear if the suspect was posing as an MTA employee.

The suspect then allegedly pulled out a gun on the clerk and tied her up with Duct tape before taking her keys and robbing the booth.

A second suspect acted as a lookout while the robbery was in progress, according to police.
