Police are looking for a man wanted in connection to a violent apartment attack last week in Queens.
The suspect entered the Kew Gardens apartment just before 8 p.m. and confronted the 48-year-old resident who was in the living room, the NYPD said.
He struck the victim over the head with a metal object and ran off without taking anything.
The victim was taken to New York Hospital and treated for a laceration to his head, then released.
Police identified the suspect as Queens resident James McGarvie, who was last seen wearing white sneakers, a white tank top and black jeans.
