A 52-year-old man was found semi-conscious in the lobby of his Upper East Side apartment building after being beaten Monday night, police said.
The man, who had facial fractures, a broken jaw and lacerations to the head, was taken to NY Cornell Hospital after neighbors in the East 68th Street building found him, officials said.
The victim said he knew the man who attacked him, according to authorities.
No arrests had been made in the assault as of early Wednesday.
