A North Bellmore man has been arrested for soliciting sex from young girls.
Andrew Quattrone, 26, propositioned three girls in two separate incidents on St. Patrick’s Day, police said. First Quattrone approached a 14-year-old girl walking home from school on Camp Avenue and asked her if she wanted to be a model. Then he offered her money for sex. When she said no, Quattrone drove off in a blue Ford Explorer.
Two hours later, he drove up to two girls, ages 12 and 13, on Tennyson Avenue, asked them their ages and then offered them cash for posing naked. He also asked if they wanted to make an adult movie, police said. The girls got scared and Quattrone drove off again, but this time the victims were able to note his license plate and call police.
Police arrested Quattrone Saturday evening at his house. He was charged with three counts of attempted use of a child in a sex performance and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child. He will be arraigned Monday in First District Court in Hempstead.
