Police arrested a man suspected of trying to rape a woman after following her into her Manhattan apartment building early Saturday.
Dominique Brown, 20, has been charged with rape, burglary and sex abuse after police say he followed a 25-year-old woman into her Gramercy apartment building and attempted to rape her in the vestibule.
The woman was able to fight off the suspect, who fled the scene. The woman refused medical attention at the scene.
It was not immediately clear if Brown had an attorney.
