Police in Westchester County say a landscaper has been charged with raping a girl for five years, starting when she was 11 years old.
Police say the girl, who's now 16, told her mother on Monday. Jose Chavez, of New Rochelle, was arrested that night, according to The Journal News.
Chavez is charged with five counts of third-degree rape, one count of second-degree course of sexual conduct, and child endangerment.
The name of his attorney was not immediately known.
