MTA Worker Punched in Head at Brooklyn Subway Station After Trying to Stop Fight: NYPD

An MTA worker was punched in the head after she tried to stop a fight between two people and another MTA worker at a Brooklyn subway stop, police said.

The 52-year-old female MTA employee saw a man and a woman fighting at the Bay Ridge Avenue station around midnight on Sept. 15, the NYPD said.

The two soon started arguing with another MTA worker, so the first MTA employee intervened and recommended calling police. The female suspect then punched the 52-year-old MTA employee in the head, police said.

The two suspects fled the station. The victim refused medical attention.

Police released a surveillance photo of the suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
