Police are investigating after a woman was robbed in the driveway of her Long Island home early Tuesday.
The 44-year-old woman was getting ready to go to work in her driveway on Overlook Avenue in West Babylon at 5:15 a.m. when a man came up to her, police said.
The man held an object to the woman's throat and dumped the contents of her backpack onto the driveway before stealing her money and running away, police said.
Suffolk County detectives are investigating the robbery.
