Long Island Photographer Arrested After Bathroom Photos Found: Police

A Long Island photographer was arrested Monday after one of his employees discovered that she had been the unwitting subject of a shoot in his photo studio’s bathroom, police say.

William Iglesias, 39, of Brentwood, was arrested on felony unlawful surveillance charges, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.

The arrest was made after the 24-year-old woman working at the Photo Y Video Alexander studio in Brentwood called police, saying she found images of herself on her boss’ computer. Investigators later found remote recording equipment in the studio’s bathroom. Recordings of a second 19-year-old employee were also found.

Iglesias will be arraigned Tuesday in Central Islip, police say. It’s not known whether he has an attorney.
