Underage Boozefest Busted on Long Island

Eighteen-year-old Thomas Ripp, who lives at the home and was hosting the party, was issued a summons

A Long Island man has been issued a summons for allegedly hosting an underage drinking party at his home.

Suffolk County police responding to a complaint of a disturbance say they found about 100 to 150 minors drinking alcohol when they arrived at Thomas Ripp's Copiague home Sunday night.

Police issued a summons to the 18-year-old Ripp for violating the Suffolk County Social Host Law.

It wasn't immediately clear if he had a lawyer.

He was set to appear in court on Oct. 17.
