A Long Island man was found dead in his backyard pool Monday evening, police say.
Emergency responders were called to the Dix Hills home on Ibsen Court after 7 p.m. when someone called to report finding the man at the bottom of the deep end of the inground pool.
Byungyun Lee, 67, who lived at the home, was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, where he was pronounced dead.
It appears Lee drowned in the pool, but homicide detectives are investigating.
