Suffolk County Police say Kyle Norton faces DWI and other charges

A Long Island man has been charged with drunk driving after police say he crashed into a school bus, fled the scene and then crashed into a car driven by a pregnant woman.

Suffolk County Police say Kyle Norton faces DWI and other charges. They say two Good Samaritans followed the 37-year-old East Islip man after his crashes and called police.

They say Norton rear-ended a school bus carrying six children and then fled the scene. They say he then crashed into a car driven by a pregnant woman with two children in her car.

Police say four kids on the bus, the pregnant driver and her two children were treated for minor injuries and released.

Norton was in custody and unavailable for comment. He'll be arraigned Saturday.
