Police say Robert Gregory, of Farmingville, was arrested on a charge of murder in the death of 29-year-old Julian Pena

Police on Long Island have arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with the stabbing death of a man in the parking lot of a bar in Holbrook.

Police say Robert Gregory, of Farmingville, was arrested on a charge of murder in the death of 29-year-old Julian Pena. He's to be arraigned in First District Court in Central Islip on Thursday.

The Holbrook victim was found with stab wounds early Wednesday in the parking lot of Momo's Sports Bar & Grill following a fight. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. A second victim was also treated for injuries and released.

Police also arrested 28-year-old Rueben Rosario on a charge of gang assault in connection with the stabbing. Information of the suspect's lawyers was not immediately available.

Friends of Pena's family said he was a six-year Navy veteran studying to be a nuclear engineer Stony Brook University. He and his girlfriend were raising their 2-year-old son together in Holbrook.

They said Pena was stabbed when he stepped in during a dispute.
