Long Island Affirmative Action Officer Hit With Discrimination Complaint

Protests were scheduled to take place Monday outside a Long Island jail after Nassau's correction union filed a discrimination complaint against the jail's affirmative action specialist for allegedly posting racist comments against white officers on his Facebook page.

The federal discrimination complaint was filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission against Andreaus Guilty, a rap artist who is an affirmative action officer at East Meadow Jail. His duties include investigating discrimination complaints.

Among the postings, Guilty allegedly accuses police of "ethnic cleansing." The New York Post says he refers specifically to white police officers using derogatory terms.

Yet, Guilty tells
Newsday he doesn't have racist posts on his Facebook.

Nassau Correction Officers Benevolent Association head John Jaronczyk calls the postings inappropriate.

County attorney Carnell Foskey tells Newsday while everyone has the right to post whatever they want on their personal Facebook page, his office will investigate the matter.

The Post says correction officers planned to protest Monday outside the jail.
