- While you were out enjoying the sunny weather this past Saturday evening, a fierce battle was waged between a number of alcohol-fueled teams of monkey robots. At the Robot Monkey Chimpionship (see interview with the creator), teams representing Williamsburg and Greenpoint duked it out at the Franklin Street bar named TBD. [NYShitty]

Try donating your working bicycle to Pedals for Progress, a bike collection group that collects used bikes and redistributes them to the needy - namely in Latin America, Africa and the Pacific Islands. - A New Yorker's pet ferret has gone missing! The female ferret has been living here for over three years and is considered "part of the family," according to the "Wanted" signs posted on 7th Avenue around 52nd Street. But, uh, small problem...ferrets have been banned in NYC since 1999! It seems that the poor ferret might be wanted in more ways than one...that little fugitive. [Best View in Brooklyn]
