Police are looking for the robber who flagged down a livery cab driver in the Bronx over the weekend and choked the driver with his seat belt before running off with his cell phone.
Authorities say the suspect hailed the driver on Westchester Avenue shortly after 11:30 p.m. Sunday. As they drove down Lowell Street, the suspect demanded money from the driver and used the driver's seat belt to choke him.
He fled with the driver's cell phone. It wasn't clear if he stole any cash.
