1. NY Mom on Vacation Found Dead in Bushes at Club Med Resort

Authorities in Turks and Caicos are investigating the death of a 61-year-old tourist from New York whose body was found in the bushes near a Club Med, according to island police and the dead woman's son.

The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force identified the woman as Marie Kuhnla; her son tells News 4 she was a Legal Aid attorney in Suffolk County.

Kuhnla's body was found near the Club Med resort Oct. 16, a day after she had been reported missing. The circumstances surrounding her disappearance weren't immediately clear.

2. Amazon's Convenience Store of the Future is Coming to NYC

The convenience store of the future is finally coming to New York City. 

Amazon is planning to open one of its "go" stores near the World Trade Center, according to the tech blog Recode. 

If you haven't heard of them, the stores don't have any registers or cashiers. You just scan an app when you walk in, pick up your items and leave. 

A bunch of sensors will figure out what you've bought and charge you accordingly.

3. Service Increases to Be Implemented During L Train Shutdown

One thousand new roundtrips each week will be implemented during the looming L train shutdown, according to the MTA.

Members of the Transit Committee will be presented Monday with details on the service increases for specific train lines, which are set to take place in April 2019.

The temporary route changes are proposed for weekdays and include two additional A roundtrips would be operated between approximately 10 p.m. and midnight; 26 additional E roundtrips; and 12 more F roundtrips.
