1. Hungry Subway Rat Makes a Comeback, This Time With a Slice of Pizza

Don't call it copycat, but a copy-rat may work. 

Remember the infamous pizza rat that broke the internet in 2015? Well, it's back at it or at least taught its friends a thing or two because a subway rodent was seen dragging a huge slice of pizza along the tracks at the Lexington Avenue-59th Street station. 

To no surprise, the video has since gone viral.

2. Manhattan's Land Is Worth as Much as Canada's Entire GDP: Study

Everyone knows Manhattan real estate prices are sky high, but let's take it back down to earth for a moment

A recent study estimates the value of land in Manhattan that can be developed on it worth about $1.74 trillion, which is equal to the economic output of Canada. 

A new wave of workers, jobs and tech companies moving to the Big Apple have contributed to the outrageous cost of land over the years.

3. Governors Island Opens Tuesday

Governors Island officially opens Tuesday. 

The historic island located in the New York Harbor is a prime summer destination for arts, activities, festivals, and cultural events. 

It;s open seven days a week and visitors can take the ferry, which is free for kickoff week.
