1. Pipe Bombs Sent to Clintons, Other Political Figures

Seven PVC pipe bombs were sent to several high-profile critics of President Trump and the New York City offices of CNN, creating fear in the tri-state area and across the nation less than two weeks before the midterm elections.

Packages addressed to Hillary Clinton, former President Obama, billionaire George Soros, ex-Attorney General Eric Holder, former CIA director John Brennan and Rep. Maxine Waters of California - who was sent two -- and all appear to have the same characteristics, authorities and law enforcement officials with direct knowledge of the matter told NBC News.

None of the devices detonated and no one was injured, and authorities are examining the crude explosives and staying on the lookout for additional packages.

2. Pipe Bomb Sent to CNN Included 'Get 'er Done' ISIS Meme

At least one of the apparent pipe bombs sent to prominent political figures around the country this week contained a parody image of the ISIS flag, with part of the terror group’s insignia replaced with the words “get ‘er done.”

Law enforcement sources tell News 4 that the device mailed to former CIA director and onetime CNN commentator James Brennan was emblazoned with the image, which includes the catchphrase of comedian Larry the Cable Guy and images of three women replacing the normal imagery on the terrorist organization's flag.

NBC News reports that the flag was originally created in 2014 by the right-wing parody site World News Bureau for an article titled "ISIS Vows Retribution For Counterfeit Flags."

Didn't win the Mega? Well, if you're one of those McDonald's breakfast people, you did just hit the jackpot.

The fast-food restaurant has launched its first breakfast menu "innovation" in five years, introducing Triple Breakfast Snacks in a late-Tuesday news release that was sure to make a few mouths water.

In McDonald's own words: "Triple Breakfast Stacks come with two slices of American cheese between two savory hot sausage patties. They’re topped with crispy, thick-cut Applewood smoked bacon and an egg. Guests can opt for their choice of a toasted McMuffin, buttery and flaky biscuit, or sweet and savory McGriddles cakes."
