1. Electric Zoo Throwing Biggest, Wildest Party NYC Has Ever Seen

If you want to send off the season by dropping the bass then Electric Zoo is for you. 

The EDM festival is turning 10 this year and organizers say they are celebrating by throwing the biggest, wildest party NYC has ever seen.

This year Martin Garrix and Tiesto are headlining, but there will be dozens of DJs and performers out on Randall's Island over the weekend.

2. Head on Down to the West Indian Day Parade on Monday

If a parade is your kind of bash then head out to Crown Heights on Monday for the West Indian Day Parade. 

It's a celebration of Caribbean culture and is one of NYC's largest and most colorful processions.

Nearly one million people are expected to line Eastern Parkway to see the costumes, floats and Calypso dancers.

3. Washington Square Outdoor Art Exhibit Is This Weekend

Now if you are looking for an original piece of art, you'll want to check out the Washington Square Outdoor Art Exhibit.

It's actually been going on since 1931 when Jackson Pollock was short on rent and decided to sell paintings on the street near Washington Square Park. 

Now hundreds of artists line University Place twice a year to show off their works.
